The Sneyd Family Caesar Salad Dressing

K everyone here is the Best Caesar Salad Dressing you will ever taste...
This dressing is a Sneyd family tradition and has been passed down from many generations... But we are giving you our secret today! Caesar salad is our families staple, we love it so much we would literately drink it( and I'm not kidding)!!! We have lived off of it our whole life. When my sister and brother and I were little We ordered Caesar salad at every restaurant we went to. So that being said... I consider myself to be a Caesar Salad connoisseur!!!


So here it is...

2 eggs yolks
1 tsp Grey Poupon mustard
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 large clove of garlic minced
1/2 tsp of anchovy paste
1 tsp Red Wine Vinegar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Whisk or blend the above ingredients together
Then slowly drizzle oil into mixture while whisking or blending
1 cup of 1/2 olive oil & 1/2 canola oil
( if dressing gets to thick add a little bit of water to mixture until you have reached desired consistency) the consistency should be more like mayo!
Add salt and pepper to taste
And parmesan cheese

New years resolution starting now...

Ok so our new years resolution was to update our blog with fun new stuff... Things Ryan loves to cook... Things I Can cook... And whatever else!

So here we go!!!

So I'm finally learning a little bit about cooking!
It's amazing that after 5 and half years this is honestly the first year I have even tried. Normally I sit my little butt on the couch and watch my reality shows peacefully while my amazing husband make the most delicious meal ever!!! I know it sounds really lame but it's true, Plus I'm really not allowed in the kitchen because when i am in there I usually spill, drop, or mess Something up! So basically what I'm trying to say, for all those Cooking Challenged people is that IF I CAN DO IT... YOU CAN DO IT!!!

So tonight I decided to cook... and it was amazing...


Healthy Tortilla Soup

You will need:

Cilantro
1 Lime
1 tomato
1 can of cooked chicken breast (I know its not the best but it works)- optional
Cumin
Mexican spices( or whatever you have)
Red onion
1/2 Jalapeño pepper
1/2 Serrano pepper
Vegetable stock Or I use vegetable base (so I can make my own broth)
Coconut oil or olive oil
Avocado

So basically all I did was...

Chop onions and peppers
Sauté onion, jalapeño and Serrano pepper in 1 Tbsp coconut oil for about 5 min
Then in a pot add vegetable base to 6 cups of water and bring to a boil
Then add 1 tsp cumin to sauted vegetables and some chipolte seasoning or what ever Mexican seasoning you have... And sauté for 5 more minutes
Chop tomatoes, cilantro and cut lime in half
Add onions and peppers mixture to stock
add chicken tomato And cilantro to broth and squeeze the whole lime into broth
Bring to a boil again
Pour into a bowl and add avocado
You can also add cheese and tortilla strips to make it really delicious!!!

And that's it!
it's really delicious and I'm sure it's not that bad for u... I really have no idea because I dont know the nutritional facts but it good!

Also more to come with chef Ryan... He's dishes will be Amazing and Different and Healthy, but a bit more complicated for those who can handle it! mine will be very simple and easy for the Cooking Challenged ones... Haha

Honestly... Who doesn't Love Jager!!!

its so smooth and and rich and at the right temperature you might not even feel it go down...

I mean it is my husbands favorite drink! ( well it used to be, but now a days we really don't drink much at all) but when we first met it definitely was...

I remember when he would take shot after shot like a champ and you wouldn't even know he was wasted until he would 

A: Start talking with an accent ( those of you who know him know exactly what I'm talking about) or

B: Sneak away and fall into a drunk'n Jager slumber!

he really is such a sneaky drunkard... i love it when he tries to pretend like he isn't drunk or hasn't been drinking... especially if it is over the phone! then he has his "I'm trying not to sound like I'm drunk voice" and he thinks he is doing so well but.... No! I know!!! I can see it from a mile away! Even if i haven't talked to him i know whether or not he is going to be wasted or sober!

Is that what happens when you get married??? haha

So...  I don't know how that turned into a little bash on my hunny but when i wrote my title i was really talking about another Jager... The little 10 pound lover of my life!!!

Seriously... Could he be any cuter??? I really don't think so!!!

not that i don't love my other dogs just as much (i will go off on them another day)

but i just cant get enough of him... 

Everyone loves him so much. i have friends, family and even clients that would take him in a heartbeat! which i will get into in a second, cause thats a funny story too!

But the one question i get asked by everyone is... 

How is he so well trained? 

So... it all started when he was about 1 year old and we were up at Ryans parents house in farmington and Roadie a 75 lbs Lab and Jager were playing fetch down a long narrow hallway ( which in case you were wondering is not a good idea!!!) 

and you can probably predict what happens next... Yes! Jager broke his leg!

I know! Saddest thing ever but... Thats my answer...

So about friends, family and clients wanting my dog.... most of the time its women!!! thats probably because women love dogs and jager is a huge FLIRT! I'm not kinding 

He touches girls boobs with his paws, he rubs up on girls boobs with his head(which most men can't do), he winks at you(true), he loves to get touched/ rubbed by your feet ( which most men won't touch), he will run up to anyone and lie on his back and get a belly rub!!!

Now this all my be coincidental but, I'm thinking Not!

Pretty much he's a Ladies Man!

Just the other day Whitney's ( at my salon) client Sonja (cutest ever) was sitting in her chair getting her hair done and she reaches over and yells "Robyn, can i babysit your dog"  and i was like "sure" totally thinking she's NOT serious. And she was so excited and said "Okay! When?" Dead serious!

So I asked her "Well which one?" and  she said "Well im trying to talk my husband into getting a dog so whichever one you think" 

Immediately we all say "Jager"! 

So she said "K ill come pick him up tomorrow"  and still at this point I'm still not sure if she serious, because that just doesn't happen! Does It?

She's so freakin cute... here are her text she sent me throughout the day..

what she doesn't know... is what happens when dogs eat cat food!!! Pretty much he had a fancy feast coming out of his ass for 2 freakin days!!! it looked exactly like it did going in as it did coming out...   ha ha. sorry for the graphic info but your not the one who had to clean it . now do you want him??? 

She totally deserves a dog.... But not Jager he's Not for sale!!!

ITs Snowing in April....

What is going on?  Is this normal? Its a freakin blizzard!!!

Well its a good thing its craft night and Shellene and I making an 
APRIL SHOWERS Crafts... Haha!

I know you might call us gay, but we are okay with it... we have been doing it for weeks now and we have come to realize that its true... we are big losers and we Love it!!! You would really call us gay if you knew we were watching dancing with the stars while doing our craft! haha!!! and speaking of DWTS what the hell is going on with Kate Goslin??? Really? Could you be any worse... No! I really have no room to talk because i know that i would probably suck ten times More but IM NOT ON TV! And not to mention her HaIR EXTENSIONS... its so sad! really its just sad! You can't dance and you have bad hair extensions!!! Somebody help that girl! Actually I would... i will do it for free!!! I mean she might as well come to Salt Lake, her husband hangs out here with his 18 year old girlfriend and goes with her to get her nails done!!! Weird! I think thats what happens when you get famous you develop issues... Hangout with my 18 year old girlfriend or hangout with my 8 kids??? Hmmm... They don't need a dad anyways! Anyways!!! Haha! Back to DWTS ... Pamela Anderson... All i can say is Drugs! im not sure which 
ones but Drugs!!! oh and she is definitely sexing that guy she is dancing with!!! Right?
